The past year was not only a time of growth and expansion — it also marked an important shift toward a more environmentally and socially responsible way of doing business.
In 2021, we took meaningful steps toward sustainability. We began by optimizing delivery routes and reducing the carbon footprint of our logistics. A new routing system and hybrid delivery models allowed us to cut total transport distances on high-volume routes by more than 20%.
We also made greater use of regional warehouses — including our new hub in Dubai — which helped us reduce emergency air shipments and shift to more eco-friendly transport options without compromising speed.
In packaging, we switched to recyclable materials and introduced a reusable container system for B2B shipments. Some of these packaging solutions were developed in close collaboration with our clients, tailored to their production workflows.
On the supplier side, we implemented an internal ESG assessment as part of our partner selection process. Sustainability and social responsibility are now core criteria — not just added value.
As a supplier of components for aviation, energy, heavy equipment, and industrial automation, we recognize that our impact goes beyond reliability and speed. In 2022, we will continue to invest in sustainable supply chains, regionalization, and smarter technologies.
